ILM Football Club to open 2026 home season in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — ILM Football Club will open its 2026 home schedule later this month with a match in Brunswick County.
The Wilmington-based amateur soccer club is set to host Bragg FC on March 21 at 6 p.m. at North Brunswick High School in Leland. The game marks the beginning of the club’s third season and its first year hosting home matches at the school.
ILM FC competes in the United Premier Soccer League Division 1 Mid-Atlantic South Conference, part of a national amateur league that includes teams across the United States.
According to the club, the league’s Mid-Atlantic division has been reorganized for the 2026 season into North and South conferences, placing ILM FC in the Mid-Atlantic South and creating several new matchups.
The team qualified for the UPSL Mid-Atlantic playoffs in both the spring and fall seasons during its inaugural year.
Club officials said the move to North Brunswick High School is intended to bring games closer to fans in Brunswick County while continuing to serve supporters from the Wilmington area.
Admission to home matches is free, with a suggested $5 donation to support the club.
