Surf City beach access points start to reopen


SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — There is some good news for people in Surf City. Officials there say they are making progress on repairing and reopening the beach access points.

As of January 15, 10 spots have been completely repaired. Officials do not have an exact time frame for when other access points will reopen.

A few that are ready for visitors are Roland, Raleigh and Durham avenues.
