Heat closes Cape Fear Museum temporarily

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Another fun place to get out of the heat had to close Tuesday, because of the heat inside.

A spokesperson for the Cape Fear Museum tells us they had to shut the doors at 2:00 pm, because their air-conditioning unit was having problems.

They plan on opening their doors at 9:00 Wednesday morning , but you might want to call just in case the problem hasn’t been fixed yet.
