JAWS in Concert coming to the Wilson Center, accompanied by Wilmington Symphony Orchestra

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College will be screening the movie JAWS, while the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra plays the iconic score.
Celebrating JAW’s 50th anniversary and Shark Week, this event will take place on Saturday, July 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Now, for the first time, local audiences will have the chance to experience the power of a live symphony orchestra performing the entire score in sync with one of the greatest motion pictures of all time.
Founded in 1971, the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra is comprised of approximately 75 musicians from around the greater Wilmington area.
Tickets go on sale to Wilson Center Members at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, and will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6.
