Landfall Foundation hosts Holiday Marketplace supporting local nonprofits

Landfall Foundation awards grant

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Landfall Foundation will host its 14th annual Holiday Marketplace on Monday, December 8, featuring more than 50 local vendors, makers and artisans. The indoor shopping event offers a wide variety of handmade and locally sourced gifts, while supporting nonprofit organizations across the region.

This year’s featured vendor is Kids Making It, a long-time Landfall Foundation grant recipient. The 2025 Azalea Festival artist, Elizabeth Sheets, will also display and sell her work.

The Holiday Marketplace is open to the public with a $35 admission fee. Proceeds support the Landfall Foundation’s grants programs, which provide funding for nonprofit organizations serving Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender counties in the areas of arts, education, and health and welfare. According to the foundation, more than $8.6 million has been awarded to nonprofits since the organization was formed.

The event will take place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the Country Club of Landfall’s Nicklaus Clubhouse on Sun Runner Place in Wilmington.
