Warm weather continues Monday
(WWAY) — Be ready for hot weather as temperatures return to the lower 80s.
High pressure system ridges into the this week as it will control our weather keeping dry conditions in place. We expect sunshine and scattered clouds today with plentiful sunshine next Tuesday. Highs will near 80 to begin next week before reaching the lower to mid 80s next Tuesday and Wednesday. A moderation of temperatures into the weekend. No appreciable rainfall is expected over the next 7 days and with moderate to severe drought in place… be very careful with flame and heed the North Carolina statewide burn burn in place.
WWAY FORECAST:
Today: A mix of sun and clouds. Pleasant afternoon with high in the lower 80s.
Tuesday: Abundant sunshine with high near 85. Winds SW 5-15 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies, with temperatures into the middle 80s.
