A decade later the question still remains, ‘Where the gold at?’
MOBILE, AL (WPMI) — He’s inspired many music videos, countless tshirts, even has his own research website and Wikipedia page. Yes, the Crichton leprechaun as seen in the original amateur sketch and the many characters who spotted him on St. Patricks Day 2006 will live on in viral video history and as a Local 15 legend.
Ten years later, it’s still a mystery what magical creature was up in the famous tree. Neighbors say people still stop by to see for themselves.
If this is the lucky year that the leprechaun returns, it would be the second sighting for Samual Forney, who spotted him the first time around.
