ALDI to host store hiring event for North Myrtle Beach location

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WWAY) — In preparation for an ALDI grocery store to open in North Myrtle Beach in March, the company is having a hiring event on Friday.

According to ALDI’s website, the discount store needs to fill various positions including store associates, shift managers, and manager trainees.

The event will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Myrtle Beach/Coastal Grand Mall, located at 2383 Coastal Grand Circle.

The website lists starting pay for store associates as $11.35 per hour, while shift managers can expect $15.35 per hour for manager hours. Manager trainees can expect around $53,000 per year with the opportunity to earn up to $90,000 per year as a store manager.

New hires will be expected to travel to Florence, SC until the Myrtle Beach store opens in early March. An exact date has not been set.
