Arrest made in Dunkin Donuts armed robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said a teen is facing charges in connection with an armed robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts.

The incident happened last night at the location on Carolina Beach Road. Three suspects entered the store wearing masks, and deputies said at least one suspect had a gun.

Tony Demond King-Tilman, 18, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of second degree kidnapping and safecracking, according to a news release. The investigation is ongoing.
