Asta, the Aquarium’s oldest otter, celebrates her 16th birthday
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher’s oldest otter celebrated her 16th birthday Tuesday morning.
Crowds gathered at the exhibit to see Asta eat a specially-made birthday cake.
Asta seemed to enjoy the treat marking the milestone occasion.
She’s been at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher since 2020.
