WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Author David Guterson, best known for his novel “Snow Falling on Cedars,” will visit the University of North Carolina Wilmington next week for a book reading and discussion.
Guterson, whose work earned the Faulkner Award and was later adapted into a film starring Ethan Hawke, will read from his newest novel, “Evelyn in Transit.”
Following the reading, Guterson will be joined in conversation by author and UNCW alumnus Robert Dean Lurie.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in Kenan Hall, Room 1111 on UNCW’s campus.
The reading and discussion are free and open to the public.
