Benefit comedy show to support injured firefighters following explosion

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — We have an update on the four firefighters injured in Tuesday’s explosion at the Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center. 

Three of the four firefighters were treated and released Tuesday. The fourth firefighter who suffered from severe burns to the hands and arms at the chapel hill in the burn unit.  

‘Ellie Coleman Comedy’ will host a comedy show which will be held at Station 2 in Wilmington on Sunday August 24th where all the proceeds will benefit the firefighters.  

Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm. If the 7pm show is sold out, another one will be held at 9:30pm.
