Bladen County Schools announces remote learning day ahead of potential winter weather

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Bladen County Schools said they’ll be transitioning to an asynchronous remote learning day for Monday.

Students will work independently on assignments that teachers have posted in Canvas, or Google Classroom. Teachers may also send assignments home with students on Friday.

All school buildings and district departments will be closed and there will be no events or activities held on Monday.

The school district said a decision will be made about Tuesday no later than 8 p.m. on Monday.
