Board votes on paid parking at Wrightsville Beach

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen held a meeting Thursday night.

It was a continued public hearing to talk about paid parking along Pelican Drive and Old Causeway Drive or any section or combination of those streets using Pay by Phone technology.

The Board voted to add meters on Old Causeway Drive, but not on Pelican Drive.

The Pay by Phone technology would be used to collect fees.
