Bond denied for 3rd Ogden murder suspect

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — At a first appearance in a New Hanover County courtroom, a judge denied bond for the third man accused in an Ogden murder.

Theio Manley was arrested yesterday for the murder of Yancey Edwards May 4, according to NHSO spokesman Lt. Jerry Brewer. He’s now facing a first degree murder charge. Two other suspects have already been charged in the case.

In court Wednesday, a judge said Manley could face up to the death penalty if convicted, depending on how the district attorney decides to proceed with the case.
