Brunswick Little Theatre to hold auditions for ‘One Slight Hitch’

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick Little Theatre will hold auditions for the comedy ‘One Slight Hitch’ by Lewis Black.

The auditions, consisting of a cold script reading, will take place Sunday, January 4th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, January 5th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the theatre located at 8068 River Road in Southport.

There are seven roles: a married couple aged 50-70, two men aged 25-35, one woman aged 20-30, another woman aged 30-40, and one other flexible age character.

The show is directed by Rosina Whitfield and performances will be February 19th-March 8th.

The plot concerns the character Courtney’s wedding day and last-minute preparations but the sudden appearance of her ex-boyfriend changes everything.
