Bryston Davis signs with Guilford College

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Another high school star from our area is headed to college as Ashley’s Bryston Davis signed his National Letter of Intent today.

Davis played basketball all four years for the Screaming Eagles.
On JV his freshman season, he won only one game.
But this past year he helped lead the program to their first ever regular season conference title.
He is taking his talents to Guilford College and he says he couldn’t have done it without his surrounding cast.

“It’s great to know I have so much support from my friends and my family and teachers. I’m going to take that and put all the effort and all the work in when I play basketball in college,” Davis said. “I know what I can do and I hope I can just contribute and help their basketball team be successful for the next four years.”

The Davis Family was in attendance today and Bryston’s father told me he was so proud to watch his son grow and can’t wait for the future.
