Cape Fear Explorers help find wedding ring dropped on Wrightsville Beach
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) – A local group of amateur archeologists recently proved not all their major finds are historical in nature.
After a woman lost a wedding ring more than a week ago on the sand of Wrightsville Beach, the Cape Fear Explorers were contacted to search for the heirloom.
Member Jack Hooker used a metal detector to search for the object, finding it early Saturday afternoon.
The group says they were happy to help find the important ring.
