Cape Fear River Watch holding cleanup in Greenfield Lake watershed
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear River Watch is partnering with Keep New Hanover Beautiful to host a cleanup in the Greenfield Lake Watershed.
The cleanup will take place on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Volunteers will be focusing on cleaning up Squash Branch. This area will require kayaks to clean so if you have your own kayak you should bring it.
Parking can be found along Lake Branch Dr. across from Lake Forest Baptist Church(1626 Lake Branch Dr.).
Pickers, bags, safety vests and gloves will be provided.
