Career center holding healthcare job fair

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick NCWorks Career Center is holding its first ever Healthcare Job Fair.

The event will be held in partnership with Brunswick Community College at the Event Center at Odell Williamson Auditorium on Wednesday, September 26 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Employers from the healthcare industry will be available to talk about current and future open positions. The job fair is geared to connecting local healthcare employers to job seekers and connecting individuals with available opportunities.

More than 20 Brunswick County employers will be present. Opportunities are available at every level of expertise. A background or history in healthcare is not necessary to apply for many positions and support personnel are also needed.

Employers will be ready to interview at the job fair as well as make connections for future opportunities. Attendees can also expect a scrubs fashion show, a guest speaker, professional assistance with resume writing and interviewing skills, raffle drawing and face-to-face networking.

Brunswick NCWorks Career Center provides individuals with job-training programs and services including free access to computers, work search and resume assistance, workshops and access to job fairs to connect with employers. All services are of no cost to job-seekers.
