Carolina Beach Skatepark expansion project begins
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Carolina Beach Skatepark expansion project at Mike Chappell Park is underway.
Artisan Skateparks is currently at the park preparing the area for construction and equipment is in place.
Crews are working with Artisan Skateparks to keep the park open as long as possible, but say there will be times when the park must be closed.
The construction entrance to the park is on Sumter Avenue, so when visiting the skatepark, you are asked to enter through the gravel parking lot off 8th Street.
