UPDATE: Lanes back open after cement truck spills on River Rd.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — All lanes of River Road are back open this morning after an accident closed traffic down to one lane early Thursday.

New Hanover County Dispatch says a cement truck lost its contents between Sunnyvale and Operations Drive just before 6 a.m.

Dispatchers say fire crews and EMS have cleared the scene, along with an officer who was helping to direct traffic in the area.
