CFCC sees men and women soccer programs win regionals

Both teams play for the district title and a chance to advance to the NJCAA tournament Saturday

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – This weekend, both Sea Devil soccer teams won the Region 10 Conference Championships. That’s only happened one other time in school history.

The #1 seeded women took down Richard Bland College at home. They have won four straight conference championships. To advance to the NJCAA, the Sea Devils will need to defeat Pensacola State – whom they defeated last year to advance to the same stage.

The #3 seeded men defeated Patrick & Henry CC. It’s their first conference championship since 2008. They will travel to Tennessee to play the Region 7 representative.
