WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Wrightsville Beach will start to have fewer lifeguard stands staffed as the summer season winds down.

According to the Town of Wrightsville Beach, stands 1, 3, 7, 9, 12, and 14 will continue to be staffed daily (additional stands may be staffed depending on weather.)

They say to look for a flag on the stand to see if there is a guard present.

Regular working hours will stay the same (10:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.).

Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue vehicles will continue to patrol the beach daily.
