WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Children’s Museum of Wilmington will host its 6th Annual Enchanted Character Walk on March 28 at 10 a.m. at the New Hanover County Arboretum.

According to the Children’s Museum of Wilmington, the event will transform the Arboretum gardens into a storybook setting where families can meet popular fantasy characters.

Guests will have the chance to walk through the gardens, take photos and collect autographs from costumed characters during the family-friendly event.

The Enchanted Character Walk has become a signature fundraiser for the museum, organizers say.

“Our Enchanted Character Walk is such a special day for our families, but it’s also vital to the work we do at the Museum,” said Patti Erkes, director of development for the Children’s Museum of Wilmington. “Every ticket purchased helps us continue creating joyful, hands-on learning experiences for children in our community. The Museum is a place where imaginations grow and families connect, and this fundraiser helps make that possible.”

According to the museum, proceeds from the event support its mission to provide creative, educational and inspiring experiences for children across southeastern North Carolina.

Tickets cost $50 per person and are available online.
