Death investigation underway in New Hanover County

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation following a shooting Thursday afternoon.

Lt. Jerry Brewer with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said it happened in the Walmart parking lot in Monkey Junction just after 4 p.m.
