Dosher Memorial Hospital announces schedule changes ahead of winter storm

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — With winter weather expected in Southport and the surround areas this weekend, Dosher Memorial Hospital announced scheduled changes.

The Emergency Department and Inpatient Care Services will remain open.

All Dosher primary care clinics, women’s health, outpatient surgery clinic, and walk-in care at the Dosher Wellness Center will be closed on Monday and plan to reopen for regular office hours Tuesday, weather permitting.

For Hospital Outpatient Services including the Dosher Wound Care Center, Cardiac Rehab, Therapy Services including PT, OT, and speech, outpatient lab, and outpatient radiology, including CT, MRI, X-Ray, and mammogram will be closed Monday and plan to open for regular service hours on Tuesday weather permitting.

Dosher Surgical Services will be closed all day on Monday. Patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted.

Dosher’s healthcare support services including Medical Records and the Business Office will be closed on Monday. They plan to reopen on Tuesday weather permitting.
