Dozens of future brides check out Winter Bridal Expo

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon brides took over the Wilmington Convention Center for the Winter Bridal Expo.

Along with the brides there were people to help make their dreams a reality.

The expo focused more on brides planning for fall weddings and vendors shared those types of trends.

The host of the expo said brides typically plan their wedding for about a year, but it can depend on items such as the budget, timing and location.

One of the vendors said she loves coming to events like this so she can meet the future brides in person.

“I think my favorite thing is watching her realize her dream and look the way she’s always dreamed that she is going to look or maybe not how she dreamed she was going to look, just looks absolutely stunning,” David’s Bridal Assistant Store Managaer Laura Spalding said.

There were all types of vendors a bride could imagine to help plan their special day like caterers, photographers, florists and much more.
