Events around the Cape Fear canceled due to weather this weekend
CAPE FEAR, NC (WWAY) — Due to inclement weather, events across the Cape Fear are being rescheduled or canceled.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY
- The 29th annual Art in the Arboretum has been rescheduled for October 17-19. For more information, visit ArtInTheArboretum.org.
- Movie in the Park in Wrightsville Beach that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to high winds.
- The inaugural Bike Rodeo in Wrightsville Beach has been postponed until next Sunday, October 19th, 1:00p.m. through 4:00 p.m.
- The Riverfront Farmers Market in Wilmington has been canceled due to weather on Saturday. It will be back next Saturday on October 18th.
- Touch-A-Truck has been rescheduled for a later date due to weather.
- Cycle NC tour will NOT include stops in New Hanover County and Saturday’s End of Ride event at Fort Fisher is canceled.
BRUNSWICK COUNTY
- Family Movie Night in Southport that was set to take place tonight has been canceled.
- Petsense Fall Adopt-a-thon in Leland has been postponed until Saturday 25th from 10 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
- Live & Local: Market + Music in Oak Island has been canceled.
- Jazz in the Park in Sunset Beach has been canceled. It was originally scheduled for Sunday.
