Fatal shooting in Robeson county

ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WBTW) – One person is dead and another injured after a shooting late Friday night in Robeson County.

According to Major Anthony Thompson with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call about a shooting at 92 Manning Road, in Rowland at 10:44 p.m. Friday.

When they arrived on scene deputies found two people who had been shot. Lewis Roundtree was deceased when deputies arrived, his wife Cynthia was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
