Free athletic screening exams offered to New Hanover County athletes

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County High School and Middle School athletes looking to undergo their state-mandated physicals can do so for free.

Physicians in New Hanover-Pender County Medical Society, along with the New Hanover County Health Department and the school system is offering free screenings for New Hanover County athletes and cheerleaders at designated times in May and June.

Exams for the boys will be on Thursday May 31, 2018 and the girls will be on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Health Department located at 2029 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC.
