Funeral for slain mom, 2 daughters planned in North Carolina

RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — Family and friends will gather in Pinehurst this weekend to say their final goodbyes to a pregnant mother and her two young daughters who investigators say were murdered in Colorado.

According to their obituary, funeral services for Shanann Watts and her two daughters will be Saturday, Sept. 1 in Pinehurst.

Husband and father Chris Watts is charged with killing his wife and the two girls, 3-year-old Celeste and 4-year-old Bella.

The obituary said that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory honoring Shanann Watts and her daughters to:
