Man pleads guilty in golf cart death case
HOLLY SPRINGS, NC (AP) — A North Carolina man has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, after a woman was killed while riding in a golf cart in June of 2021.
Jeremy Rollins Martin, 43, was driving in the 12 Oaks community in Holly Springs where he lives.
The woman who died was in critical condition when emergency crews arrived.
She was taken to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.
According to documentation from Martin’s attorney, he received a Prayer for Judgement Continued and ordered to pay $193 in court costs.
