Good Shepherd Center in need of volunteers
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you’re looking for a way to give back to the community the Good Shepherd Center wants your help.
The organization is looking for several volunteers to help with day-to-day operations.
Their mission is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and provide a path to sustainable housing.
Volunteer opportunities include preparing and serving meals, office assistance, food pickup and delivery, and front desk reception.
The next orientation date is Wednesday, May 17 at 6:00 p.m. at 811 Martin Street in Wilmington. Other dates include Wednesday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m.
