HGTV crews spotted filming scenes for ‘Battle on the Beach’ at Oak Island Pier
OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) – HGTV crews were spotted Tuesday afternoon filming scenes for the fourth season of Battle on the Beach.
Contestants and the show’s hosts – including longtime ABC ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ host Ty Pennington – spent several hours on the Oak Island Pier.

During filming, the pier was closed down to allow crews to work.
The show involves three teams renovating identical beachfront properties for a $50,000 prize.
