Wildcats use big 5th inning to rally to win

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Tuesday night, the New Hanover Wildcats topped the Ashley Screaming Eagles 5-2 at Buck Hardee Field.

The two teams traded one run innings early in the game.

The difference was the 5th inning. New Hanover scored 3 runs – all on walks and past balls.

Ashley is now 13-8, 7-6 in conference. New Hanover improves to 17-4, 10-3 in conference and 9-1 at home.
