How to play as UNCW in new ‘EA College Football 25’ video game
Scores of Seahawk fans and alums have created a virtual UNCW football team. Here's how to find their rosters
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Since its inception in 1947, UNCW has never had a football team.
With the new release of EA’s wildly popular college football video game for the first time in 11 years, as many as 60 UNCW fans have used the game to live the fantasy of having Division 1 college football in Wilmington.
WWAY spoke with three of them as to why the motivation to spend those hours exist, and all share that not having the real thing contributes to the want to create the virtual thing.
HOW TO ACCESS THE TEAM BUILDER:
EA has their own link to use the Team Builder . On the team builder website or in game: Search the EA usernames: “WillSpaz12” or H E Moore22”. Plus, gamers can search in game by team “UNCW”.
