ILM unveils 3 new terminal concession options
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you’re flying in or out of Wilmington International Airport, there are a few new food options.
The airport held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new Dunkin’ Donuts, a Jimmy John’s sandwich shop, and a store called The Market.
The new shops are opposite the terminal from Port City Java and several other stores.
ILM now has a total of 7 restaurants or shops.
Airport director Jeff Bourk said these are necessary additions to the airport due to it’s continuing growth.
“Well as the nation’s 4th fastest growing airport, this is really needed,” Bourk said. “The extra gate space was needed. All in all, there’s lots of choice for the traveler here at ILM when they come through and today, we’ve added Dunkin, Jimmy Johns and the Market.”
Bourk also said the process to build the new shops began more than a year and a half ago.
