Inaugural “Belville classic” raises funds for elementary school

More than 100 golfers hit the links at Magnolia Greens Monday for a good cause

BELVILLE, N.C. (WWAY) – The Town of Belville was closed on Monday to allow for the “Belville Classic Charity Golf Tournament” that benefitted Belville Elementary School.

More than 100 golfers showed up to support the next generation while enjoying a beautiful fall day on the Magnolia Greens Club course.

More than just golf, people enjoyed entertainment and music. Some students arrived for a putting contest and fun of their own.

All proceeds will go to Belville Elementary.
