Inaugural ‘Feast Wilmington’ food festival set to kick off Friday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A first-of-its-kind food and drink festival is happening in the Port City this weekend, rain or shine.

Feast Wilmington aims to highlight Wilmington’s emergence as a culinary destination. It will include four events over three days, featuring more than 70 chefs and 20 local breweries. End of Days Distillery will provide spirits.

The festivities begin Friday night at 6:00 with the VIP Kickoff. On Saturday, there will be two events: Brunch Elevated at 11:00 a.m., and the Pier Party at 6:00 p.m. The final event is Craft & Cuisine on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. All events take place at Live Oak Bank Pavilion at Riverfront Park.

Despite some weather concerns, organizers say there will be tents on-site, and all events should continue as planned. Attendees are encouraged to check weather forecasts, and bring rain gear if necessary.

Parking will be available at the PPD parking deck for a $10 flat fee, although ride-sharing is encouraged.

Those interested in attending any of the events can purchase tickets here.
