Laney golfer off to International Championship

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Optimist International Junior Golf Championship takes place this weekend in Florida and a member of the Laney girl’s golf team will be there.

Rising Laney sophomore Grace Holcomb qualified for the championship after playing in the SC Optimist Qualifier at Coastal Carolina.

Holcomb will look to bring home a championship in the 15-18 division when the event begins this Sunday at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
