Leland police arrest early morning stabbing suspect

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland police arrested a suspect involved in an early morning stabbing Sunday.

Leland police officers responded to 1109 New Pointe Blvd. just after midnight Sunday.

Police said the victim was assaulted with a knife and was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Officers said the suspect, Damian Hal Rabon, was located and charged with the assault.

According to jail reports, Rabon bonded out of the Brunswick County jail Sunday.
