Leland restaurant closes, others on the way

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — There are some changes coming to the Town of Leland that may affect where you grab a cup of coffee or a hot meal.

Fat Tony’s closed its Leland restaurant Tuesday, but their location in downtown Wilmington will remain open.

Back in October, WWAY told you a Dunkin’ Donuts would be coming to Ocean Gate Plaza next to Walmart and now there is a sign saying it’s coming soon.

Papi’s Chicken is coming to Westgate Marketplace, also near Walmart. No word yet on when it will open.
