Level up with ‘PlayStation The Concert’ at CFCC’s Wilson Center

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College announced PlayStation The Concert is coming to Wilmington.
The groundbreaking live music event brings the most iconic gaming soundtracks to life on stage. It combines music and visuals from nine legendary video game titles including God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, Astro Bot, Journey, Helldivers 2, Bloodborne, and Uncharted.
The world premiere of the global tour launched in May in Dublin to rave reviews and will stop at the Wilson Center for one show on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 7:30pm.
PlayStation The Concert showcases multi-layered visuals, surround sound, and an all-star ensemble featuring classical and modern instruments. Each of the 15 soloists will deliver artistic precision and performances that blend classical mastery with contemporary flair.
Scores from composers like Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us), Jorris De Man (Horizon), Ilan Eshkeri (Ghost of Tsushima), and Bear McCreary (God of War) will be part of the live concert.
PlayStation has been at the cutting edge of gaming for more than 3 decades to millions around the world.
In a press release from CFCC it states, “The games featured in this tour aren’t just titles, they’re cultural touchstones that have reshaped the entertainment landscape.”
Tickets will be available online to Wilson Center Member Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at 10 in the morning.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 20th, at 10am.
