MacKenzie Gore earns second professional win
FORT WAYNE, IN (WWAY) — When MacKenzie Gore was at Whiteville, the town would literally shut down to watch the lefty pitch.
Tonight the leader of the pack was back on the mound on a Tuesday looking to channel his inner wolf and get the win.
In the game against West Michigan, Tuesday proved once again to be Gore’s day as he went 6 innings with 5 strikeouts and only one run. One of the strikeouts coming against MLB great Roger Clemens’ son.
Gore’s overall ERA is now 4.11 after 15 starts for the Tincaps.
