MacKenzie Gore struggles in first loss with TinCaps
DAVENPORT, IA (WWAY) — After a month-long stint on the disabled list for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, Whiteville native MacKenzie Gore returned to the mound in a losing effort to the Quad City River Bandits this afternoon.
Gore, in his first loss of the season, was pulled after two innings pitched for the team in which he gave up four runs, all earned, on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts.
It’s his first action back after a blister placed him on the DL on April 13. He made only one other start this season where he earned a no-decision after 3 innings of work on April 10.
