Mannheim Steamroller returning to Wilson Center this November

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Popular musical group Mannheim Steamroller is returning to the Wilson Center this November.

The group will perform two shows on November 29th, one at 3:00 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s show will feature classic Christmas hits from the Mannheim Steamroller holiday albums and multimedia effects in an intimate setting.

Chip Davis, founder and creator of Mannheim Steamroller, will celebrate over 35 years of his annual Christmas concert tour, making it the longest-running concert tour in the entertainment industry.

“I remember coming out with my first Christmas album in 1984, followed by our first tour,” said Davis. “Back then, many in the music industry said focusing on Christmas just wouldn’t work. Now, over 35 years later, we are still going strong. I want to thank our fans for making us part of their holiday tradition, especially after the hardships of the last few years. Today we often see multi-generational families join us during the holidays each year.”

Tickets will be available online to Wilson Center members at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, and will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tickets may be purchased online HERE.
