Mom to Mom: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and about one in eight women will get breast cancer at some point in their lifetime.
In this week’s Mom to Mom Sarah Pannell is going over the importance of getting screened for breast cancer from Dr. Sarkar.
Dr. Sarkar said for women who are 40 to 49 they recommend screening every one to two years. After the age of 50 they still recommend yearly screenings.
