National Signing Day: Hoggard
17 Viking student-athletes committed to their schools Wednesday
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – There was another massive signing day at Hoggard Wednesday. 17 different athletes from x sports put pen to paper to sign with their schools.
Headlining the football commitments were Hudson Wilharm and Jason Smith to UNC, Malakahi West to Elon, Reagan Printy to ECU. Prince Oatman will play for Hampden Sydney.
The next biggest collection of student-athletes committing was from the cross country and track team. Ryan Jiminez Ibarra is going to UNC-Pembroke. Pierson Guerrant is going to UNC Greensboro. Aiden Andrews will run at the Savannas College of Art and Design. Ashlei Summers is headed to Raleigh to run for NC state. Lastly, Savannah Moore will run at App State.
There were four baseball players as well. Chase Buscher is going to UNC Ashville. Tyler Jumper is headed to North Carolina Wesleyan. Plus, both Nikita Sutherland and Aidan McBride are going to Southeastern Community College.
To swimming, Keener Witmer is going to Washington and Lee. Then is Lacrosse, Jeremiah Conklin is going to Barton. In soccer, Finnegan Lambe will play for Marshall.
