Newest concert venue on the Cape Fear River hosts Wilmington Beer Festival

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  Hundreds headed to Pier 33 in Wilmington Saturday for the Inaugural Wilmington Beer Festival.

Pier 33 is a new concert and event venue on the Cape Fear River that opened in March.

The Beer Festival featured live music and samples of craft, imported and specialty beers. It goes until 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Uncle Sam Jam featuring Frankie Ballard will perform at Pier 33 next Saturday, July 2.
